Six Pieces for Harp Ref: UM1075 |
Contents Prelude Berceuse Gigue The Nightingales Nocturne Dance Composer's Note These six little pieces are taken from my Complete Methodfor the Harp, published by Boosey & Hawkes (M-060-02940-0). As part of the Method they have proved popular and useful, and as they form a suite in their own right it was decided to make a separate edition available. Conceived for the harp, they require the use of two and three fingers only. However, they also sound very effective on the piano, and beginners will find them a welcome addition to the repertoire. The pieces are graded from easy to medium difficulty. A performance note, including details on tuning the various harps, will be found on pages 11 and 12.
